Socialist Worker #2008 July 8th

Socialist Worker leads with 'End Israel's Assault on Palestine' based on interviews from Palestine. Just one article to highlight: academic expert (and revolutionary) Esther Leslie has a page devoted to Walter Benjamin entitled 'Commodity Capitalism'. Good on SW for devoting this space to a relatively abstruse thinker and Esther obviously knows her stuff. I just worry about the final clause about Benjamin signalling that revolutoonary theory can point us to towards 'true happiness'. Just don't believe in it and find it dangerous, but am I just shaped by bourgeois head-fixing?
